Crash 'n' Burn - August 17, 2006

Had a little accident with my beloved 1990 Kawasaki ZXR 750 on August 17. Since nothing physical was broken, the injuries were considered minor.  Just some road rash on my face, right shoulder, left & right elbows and both hands too. I'm ok already now... In fact, was back on shooting assignment during the Merdeka Endurance Race. Before u ask me any question with regard to the accident, kindly read the following faq (frequently asked questions).
1. What happened?
I'm not sure, I lost conscious after the impact on my head. Can't recall any details.
2. Where?
Pusat Bandar Damansara near Help College, just passed Esso & Shell. I was on the way back to Damansara after sending some prints for the Zoo Negara Photo Contest.
3. Was your camera damaged?
No, didn't bring the camera, just sent the prints.
4. What time?
Around 3.30pm.
5. No helmet?
The full face broke into pieces. Was wearing MHR flip-up full face (RM450) that day. Will stick to more recognised brand after this.  Didn't wear any jacket or gloves though..  Just plain t-shirt and luckily a back pack which also served as a spine protector.
6. After this? Still wanna ride?
Yup..
7. Were u going fast?
Since nothing was broken, i don't think so. Probably somewhere around 80-100km/h.
8. How fast can the bike run?
Tested at 220km/h only before the wind vibration was too strong too handle safely.
9. Was it painful?
Mmm... not really sure. The burnt skin was manageable after a while. The occasional arm muscles pulled (from lack of movement) was the most painful part. Eh wait... maybe the damage on the bike is more painful.
10. Did u loose anything?
Thankfully no. Wallet and handphone intact. Thks to those who helped. Only Allah can repay your kindness.
